Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Prep Time: 30 mins

Cook Time: 1 hour 30 mins

Feeds: 6 people (adjust ingredients to your amount)

Ingredients:

32 Oz Chicken broth

4 Chicken breasts

1 lb of Carrots

1/2 stock of celery

1 onion

2 24 Oz Reames Home-style egg noodles

1 tablespoon of mince garlic

2 tablespoon of butter

Seasoning:

1 cup chicken flavor bouillon

1 tablespoon of parsley

1 tablespoon of pepper

1 teaspoon of cumin

1 tablespoon of onion powder

Directions:

Prep your ingredients by roughly chopping all vegetables, Set aside. Clean your chicken very well and place in a pot with water. Add seasoning to water and place on medium heat and allow chicken to completely cook. Once chicken is done allow the chicken to cool down enough for you to be able to handle. Shred or chop chicken depending on your preference, set aside. In a large stock pot melt butter in bottom of pan and add your onion, celery, carrots and garlic. You will want to let them cook long enough to where your celery is tender. (I hope you didn't throw out that broth!) This is where you will use the broth that your chicken was cooked in. Pour it into your stock pot and add your chicken and your 32 oz chicken broth and give it a stir. Taste your broth since this is where all the flavor is. If you need to add more flavor add more seasoning to it. Bring it all to a boil, stirring it occasionally. Once it has come to a boil pour in the reames home-style egg noodles and reduce the heat and let it come to a boil once more. You will want your noodles nicely tender. Once the noodles are cooked grab a bowl and enjoy!
